On 26 November, our Managing Director Witold Strzelecki had the honor of participating as a speaker at the “GoGreen Concrete” event, organized by Grupa Górażdże in Katowice, Poland.
During his address, Mr. Strzelecki highlighted the current state of nuclear energy in the European Union, placing particular emphasis on Poland's ambitious plans for this low-carbon energy source. He underscored how nuclear energy can play a critical role in helping Poland achieve its decarbonization goals in a cost-efficient manner.
In alignment with our statement on the upcoming Clean Industrial Deal, Business & Science Poland is advocating for the European Commission to adopt a technology-neutral approach in its policies. Such neutrality is essential to creating a level-playing field for all low-carbon technologies, enabling them to contribute effectively to achieving the EU’s decarbonization targets.
We thank Grupa Górażdże for organizing this important event and providing a platform to discuss these pressing issues. Together, we can drive forward innovative and sustainable solutions for Europe’s future.
