Bartek Czyczerski
CEO
Brussels

Bartek has been connecting business and people to the European agenda for 20 years. He has done so in a variety of roles: as a diplomat and civil servant, as the first managing director of Business & Science Poland, as an advisor to a climate think-tank and as a consultant (e.g. for EY and Forward Global). He is an expert in the topics of international trade and economic relations and the EU Green Deal. As a diplomat, Bartek has participated in EU inter-institutional negotiations, from working level to EU leaders' engagement. He has been a member of many EU bodies and represented national interests in the EU institutions. Working for the Polish government, Bartek has guided national policy on EU trade legislation, anti-dumping actions and represented the government in international trade related litigation. Bartek regularly speaks on European issues at conferences, events, in the media and in the national parliament. His publications have appeared in Euroactiv, Global Journal on International Trade and Customs, Rzeczpospolita and the Customs Monitor. He has served as BSP CEO since July 2024.

Witold Strzelecki
Managing Director
Brussels

Witold is an EU affairs expert with more than 15 years of experience in the areas of EU Affairs, Public Affairs and Strategic Communications, advising Polish and global companies in the energy and transport sectors, among others, and with experience in leading teams of consultants in EU lobbying projects. He was a director at a leading international consulting firm based in Brussels, focusing on regulations related to the European Green Deal, the Fit for 55 package, EU industrial strategy, international trade and EU funds. Previously, he worked for NuclearEurope (formerly FORATOM), an association representing the European nuclear industry (around 3000 companies from the EU, Switzerland, Ukraine and the UK) in discussions and negotiations with the EU institutions. He has also worked for PGE, the largest Polish energy company, on the project to build the first nuclear power plant in Poland, as well as for major global PA / PR agencies (branches in Poland) such as Burson-Marsteller and Havas PR Warsaw, focusing on energy investments. Witold graduated from the University of Lodz (MA in International Relations) and completed postgraduate studies at the Warsaw School of Economics.

Szymon Mikulski
Director of the Board Office
Warsaw

A graduate of law studies at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Opole as well as several postgraduate courses in the field of personal data protection, business management and financial, budget and tax accounting. Previously, he gained experience doing internships at the Regional Court at the Department of Economics in Opole and at the Municipal Office in Zabrze in the office of legal services and information security. He also completed an internship at the European Parliament. Szymon has been a manager associated with BSP since September 2019.

Anna Maria Kaczmarek
Deputy Director
Brussels

Anna-Maria joined BSP in 2020. She is currently Acting Director of the BSP Brussels Branch/ Acting Director of European Policies. She leads dossiers related to sustainability, financing and energy transition. Previously, she was an advocate in the lawmaking process at an industry organisation of the European steel sector, at a Swedish PA and strategic communications firm and a Dutch consultancy. She has worked at the EP, a law firm and trained experts at, among others, the World Bank on EU law. She is a graduate of law at the UKSW, English philology at the Catholic University of Lublin and the European Academy of Diplomacy with a specialisation in foreign service.

Joanna Jura-Kucznik
Deputy Director of the Board Office

Joanna has been associated with BSP since January 2022, currently serving as Deputy Director of the Board Office. Joanna is a law graduate at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Opole, where she specialized in financial and tax law. Joanna also received a master's degree in internal security and also completed a postgraduate degree in personal data protection.

Dariusz Dybka
Principal Advisor

Sustainability expert, has worked on the European Green Deal, emissions trading, decarbonisation and the impact of climate policies on consumer behaviour. He has experience working in public administration, diplomacy, think tanks and the UN process. Member of the Kyoto Protocol Compliance Committee (2012-2016). Lantos Fellow in 2007. worked on the UNFCCC Conference in Poznań in 2008, participated in the first Polish Presidency of the EU Council in 2011. Private sector advisor on energy and climate since 2018. In 2024 he joined Business Science Poland in Brussels as chief advisor.

Katarzyna Banaszak
Senior Policy Advisor
Brussels

Kasia is a specialist in European Union policies and programmes. She gained her professional experience in the field of EU legislation while working in the European Parliament. She gained knowledge of the functioning of the economy and management, among others, sitting on the supervisory board of a commercial law company and the SPZOZ social council. She holds a Master's degree in European Studies from the University of Aix-Marseille in France, and is also a graduate of the Collegium Medicum of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. She expanded her knowledge in the field of economics and entrepreneurship, including studying at the Budapest Business School. In Business and Science Poland since April 2022, as a Senior Policy Advisor, she has been dealing with the issues of the EU energy transition.

Ewa Soltysik
Communications Advisor

Ewa is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University with a degree in political science. She completed postgraduate studies in public relations at the Fr Józef Tischner European School. He has many years of experience in managing projects in the field of culture, science and media (National Centre of Culture, National Agency for Academic Exchange). He has been working at BSP since 2022 as Communications Advisor.

Wojciech Zabrzeski
Business Development Manager

Wojciech is a graduate of Northumbria University (Newcastle Business School), where he completed his undergraduate degree in Business and Management. During his studies, he actively participated in numerous student activities such as the Congress of Polish Student Associations in the UK, Smart Prospects and served as a Student Ambassador. Additionally, he developed his own technology start-up. Prior to joining the Business & Science Poland team, Wojciech worked as a Project & Product Manager in the UK branch of Booksy. Wojciech has skills in project management, artificial intelligence, business strategy and business analytics, which he uses to support growth and innovation at Business & Science Poland.

Aneta Dymek

Aneta is a graduate of the Poznań University of Technology with a master's degree in marketing and management. For years, he has passionately combined office management with the organization of events, effectively supporting the development of companies. He has extensive experience in leading teams and organizing events — from intimate meetings to prestigious events. He specializes in improving organizational processes and the implementation of complex projects. Passionate about digital marketing, she is constantly developing her competencies to meet the demands of a dynamic business environment.

Marcel Bartczak
Policy Analyst

He is a graduate of the Future Leaders programme at Royal Holloway, University of London with a BSc in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics and the London School of Economics, where he obtained a Master's degree in Political Economy. He gained experience during internships at Hogan Lovells law firm and EY Polska consulting firm. Trainee “Bluebook” of the European Committee of the Regions. In the years 2021-2023, he worked as an analyst in the NGO sector, he also served as the president and vice president of the boards of foundations operating in the field of green transformation and geopolitics. He is passionate about continental philosophy and automotive. In BSP since 2023 as a Policy Analyst.

Korneliusz Kosiba
Junior Policy Analyst
Brussels

Korneliusz holds a master's degree in physics from Northumbria University. In his thesis he studied photovoltaic materials of the new generation. During his studies, he was active in many initiatives, including leading the university circle MUN. He gained his experience during a one-year internship in the team of the EU Special Representative for Central Asia in the European External Action Service, where he supported work on a wide range of EU foreign policy topics in the region, such as security, energy and transport. Combining technical knowledge and geopolitical perspective, he successfully finds himself working on complex problems at the intersection of science and politics. He joined BSP in 2024.

Piotr Rodak

Piotr is a young professional in the field of public affairs and EU policy, who took his first steps in consulting for the public sector at PwC in Warsaw, and then at Edelman Global Advisory in Brussels. His particular interests are defence, the EU enlargement process, sustainable development and international trade. He is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics, where he specialized in European economic integration and the situation of the Western Balkans on the way to joining the EU, and has extensive experience in social activities, including serving as Poland's Youth Delegate to the Council of Europe.

Zuzanna Miernik
Intern

Zuzanna Miernik is a Business & Science Poland intern, gaining practical experience in EU policy and business relations. She is a graduate of Newcastle University, where she studied European Union studies, and is currently continuing her education in EU governance at KU Leuven (online course). She has developed her expertise in international relations, trade policy, and diplomacy.

Previously, Zuzanna completed an internship at the Permanent Mission of the Maldives to the United Nations in Geneva. She also serves as an ambassador for the European Student Think Tank in Poland and the United Kingdom.

Passionate about EU affairs, she plans to pursue a second master’s degree in lobbying and EU governance in the Netherlands to deepen her knowledge of European policy-making and advocacy strategies.
