Digital Poland Association Joins Business & Science Poland!

The Digital Poland Association has joined Business & Science Poland to jointly support digital transformation and shape EU regulations.

We are joining forces to develop effective legislative solutions that support digital transformation across the European Union.

According to Digital Poland Association / CEE Digital Coalition, close collaboration between governments and the private sector is essential for driving digital transformation across our region and the entire EU. From a European community perspective, increasing investment in digital skills development, strengthening cybersecurity and digital resilience, and fostering mutual trust between private and public entities are all critical.

EU regulations should be consistent, free of contradictions, and avoid overlapping existing and newly proposed legislation. Most importantly, they must take into account economic impacts. Additionally, new laws should support innovation and enhance the competitiveness of the European digital market.

The association also recognizes the need for institutional reform that would bring national regulators closer to EU central authorities, ensuring a more effective and coherent regulatory approach.

"We expect that our presence in Brussels will help clearly communicate to EU institutions the current state of digital development in the member states of our region, highlight the key challenges and desired directions for technological advancement to EU authorities, and most importantly, strengthen cooperation between the digital sector and public administration. We are convinced that the potential of Central and Eastern Europe can be the key to achieving the EU’s ambitious goals," said Michał Kanownik, President of the Digital Poland Association and leader of the CEE Digital Coalition.

Creating a competitive and secure digital environment in the EU is one of the priorities of the new European Commission. The presence of CEE Digital Coalition and the Digital Poland Association in Brussels will enable Poland to play an active role in shaping digital legislation. “This aligns perfectly with the mission of Business & Science Poland," said Witold Strzelecki, Managing Director of Business & Science Poland.
