The Union of Employers Business and Science Poland was established in 2019 as a response to the challenges posed to Polish economic entities by the dynamically developing EU common market. We provide our partners with professional tools to influence the EU legislative environment and help build effective coalitions supporting the interests of Polish industry and science. This is possible because we cooperate on a daily basis with the European institutions, with industry associations, including SMEs, NGOs and the media. With each year of operation of our office in Brussels, we develop our potential, focus on the high substantive level of work and the effectiveness of our activities.
“Our mission is to offer members and partners professional tools to influence the EU legislative environment and to build effective coalitions supporting the interests of Polish industry and science.”
The relationship is constantly evolving and expanding its portfolio. Our partners are entities from many sectors: energy, transport, heavy industry, finance, food and services, but also supporting trade or innovation and research activities of small and medium-sized enterprises. In the economy, a competitive advantage is provided by access to key information, and the most important economic and social decisions for EU Member States are made here in Brussels. That is why on a daily basis we take care of the constant analysis of the dynamic European agenda and inform about the current activities of the EU institutions in the areas of functions of our Members and Partners. This allows us to keep abreast of legislative changes and to pre-determine the opportunities and risks of adapting to the proposed changes. The ongoing activities of the BSP also focus on effectively building relationships with the negotiating circles in Brussels by inspiring and leading public debates, conferences and meetings. This allows us to create a professional discussion space for all stakeholders in the area of EU legislative activity.
“Our goal is to strengthen the value of the EU Common Market by working towards the adoption of responsible regulations in line with the interests of the Polish and European economies.”
We support our activity in the area of legislation through membership in the following bodies:
